HIDECALC
The Original Utility for making Drive Hiding easier.
Now 10 Years old
and used by thousands of IT professionals.
Makes life easier when building a Terminal Server / Citrix Environment.
Yep it has now been over 10 years since I knocked up HideCalc and released it as a FREE utility.
So I thought maybe it was time to bring it up to date a little as many things have changed.
The features of HideCalc Version 2.0 are:
Export to ADMX
Group Policy templates for Server 2008/Vista/Windows 7.
Export to ADM
Group Policy Templates for Server 2000/ 2003/ 2008/ Workstations NT4/ 2000/
XP/ Vista/ Windows 7.
Export for Kix
Scripts.
Export for
Powershell Scripts.
Export to a .REG
file.
Hides Drives
that you specify.
Prevents Drives
that you specify. (Some legacy applications file manager will undo the Hide
Drive Setting, this stops access if it does )
Please feel free to
contact me with any feedback, good and bad!.
Running HideCalc will not alter anything in your Registry. It is the data files
it creates
that will make changes when executed.
I will be updating these pages over the next couple of weeks, to show you how to integrate the files that HideCalc creates.
HideCalc will remain
FREE as always, but if you found it made your life easier or helped and
want to Donate, then it would be appreciated, but please do not feel obliged to
do so.
HideCalc Version 1.0

Right here we go with the other shit!
I am no great programmer and knocked this up with a simple software editor, so
if you find
any bugs then please report then to me at sean.hegarty@ xxx
I am not responsible if you use this program and lock up half your companies
machines or
Domain!. You use this program at your own risk.
I have tested it here on my local Domain with windows 95,98 and NT machines with
no problems. Know a bit about the registry before you start playing.
